Climate proof spatial planning in Luxembourg
Luxembourg's Ministere du Developpement durable et des Infrastructures are undertaking an analysis of their planning instruments, with a view to making recommendations for 'climate proofing' them. The recommendations are due to be published towards the end of 2011. This process is also part of the C-Change Expert Joint Planning Group 3, who are addressing climate proofing spatial plans as a transnational working group.
In Luxembourg the “Centre de Recherche Public Gabriel Lippmann” has recently done research to compile national climate change projections on the base of the euopean ENSEMBLES-Project. This research will inform the spatial planning recommendations for the region. Some of the most relevant results can be downloaded here.
